Your organics
Your organics

Your organics is the new skin range from Lloyds pharmacy which claims to be made from ingredientsof 99% natural origins . They are free from all the harsh chemicals you find in some skin care ranges such as mineral oils, parabens, lanolin, phenoxyethanol, artificial colours and harsh detergents.  Best of all they are all very affordably priced from £4-5. When you read the ingredients more closely only about 10% are from organic farming sources however as it is free from harsh chemicals it still works well for sensitive skin.

I’ve been trying out the replenishing day cream, anti ageing night cream, eye and lip lift cream and the regenerating face mask. The products all smell very fresh and natural and remind me slightly of the simple skin care range.  The replenishing day cream contains pomegranate extract and has a lovely kind of fruity smell. It is a very light consistency which is easily absorbed and  leaves your skin feeling moisturised without feeling clogged up.

The anti ageing night cream contains vitamin E which is supposed to help repair and protect your skin and fight the signs of aging. In terms of how well the cream fights the signs of ageing – only time will tell! However the  cream itself has a nice light fragrance and is very good moisturiser especially for those extra dry patches. It works well when used with the regenerating facemask which contains shea but, and has worked wonders on my dry patches.

I have combination skin which has become even drier whilst I’m pregnant, and this facemask worked well to moisturise those areas without exacerbating any of the oilier patches. Finally I have also been using the eye and lip lift, which you apply to these problem areas to help fight against the signs of ageing. (more…)

Today a lot of people experience excessive hair loss. Men, women and even children are all concerned about losing bunches of hair daily.

To be honest, I am also suffering from excessive hair loss. Several years ago I boasted my rich curly hair, but now I am afraid I will be going bald pretty soon. My hair is scattered all over the house and the office where I work.

Have you ever asked yourself what causes hair loss? Stress, hormonal imbalance, medication, certain infections and improper hair care are the main reasons of excessive hair loss. By the way, hair loss may be hereditary as well, as it is in my case.

There are diverse hair treatments available. After doing some searching on the Web I discovered several medications that tend to reduce hair loss. A medicine which may prevent hair loss is Minoxidil, sold under the brand name Rogaine. Another effective remedy is Finasteride, sold under the name Propecia.

Irrespective of the reason for hair loss, it would be reasonable to apply organic hair care products. Non-organic ones contain chemical ingredients which are harmful for hair.
