Fashion reflects on everything. It may change the way we dress, our lifestyle  and our priorities. Conquer the fashion world with the advice of the beauty blog.

Today being stylish requires quite a lot of skills as we have to be aware of all the rules of fashion. One of the rules stipulates that a haircut must by no means go with your style and express who you are. Haircut styles differ but apart from the style preferences we have to pay attention to the face shape.

An oval face has the most desired features and almost all hairstyles and cuts are good for them. A face with balanced proportions may be complimented by a long, short or medium hair style. If you have an oval face shape then you have a beautifully outlined bone structure, so experiment freely by emphasizing your perfect features.

Medium and short-length hair is appropriate for those who have a square face shape. You can reduce the strictness of your jawline with curls.  Wispy bangs will also do. Straight hair will not soften your features.

A round face shape needs to be minimized to some extend. Layers will help to reduce the roundness. (more…)

Radiant Red Collection

John Frieda has created a range of products developed for specific hair colours- ‘Sheer Blonde’ ‘Brilliant Brunette’ and ‘Radiant Red’. These ranges aim to stop hair colour from fading, and intensify the colour while maintaining healthy, shiny hair.

From the Radiant Red Collection, I tried out the Colour Magnifying shampoo and conditioner. This product claims that by using ‘Light Enhancers TM’ it will ‘transform red strands so that they attract more light and look instantly more vibrant’.

The shampoo and conditioner has a neutral smell, but an intense red colour- so make sure you wash it out thoroughly if you use white towels!

The shampoo lathered really well, and so I was pleased that I didn’t have to use too much to wash my hair- considering that it is extremely thick, I normally have to use a sizeable amount! The shampoo gave a lovely squeaky clean feel to my hair, and left it feeling quite soft.

I followed it up with the Radiant Red conditioner, that although says it contains pomegranate and plum extracts, it didn’t have the fruity aroma I was expecting. As I have some dry ends, I used a generous amount of the conditioner and left it in for a few minutes.

Having healthy, thick and lustrous hair is the desire of any girl and woman.

Hair can be of different types: straight, wavy, curly or kinky. Straight hair is often hard to hold a curl; it tends to be oily, but hard to damage. Wavy hair is resistant to styling and tends to be frizzy. Curly hair is often thick and also tends to be frizzy. Meanwhile, kinky hair is tightly coiled and very fragile.

Nowadays, having good quality hair has become an arduous task. There are different factors that spoil and damage our hair.

Hair dying dries out our hair and diminishes its gleam and glare. Shampoos containing various chemicals make our hair fall out. Constant hair dryer usage badly damages our hair tips.

What to do?

We should learn methods of protecting our hair from damage.

For this purpose the best solution may be natural hair care products.

You may use essential oils. They are extracted from various parts of plants, such as the leaves, flowers, bark, seeds, and fruits. The oils should not be applied directly to your skin. Essential oils must be mixed with a carrier oil, so that oils can be safely “carried” to your skin, minimizing any unnecessary irritation. For achieving the best results with special oils, you should consult with a doctor.

There’s another good hair care method that implements raw eggs, and after using it you can have beautiful hair. Raw eggs can be used for making hair conditioners. The properties of egg create a needed impact on your dull and dry hair. And your hair will regenerate itself. The texture of your hair is maintained by the presence of important elements. Mix 2 egg yolks with 2 teaspoons of castor oil. Then massage this mixture into your hair. Leave it for some time and then rinse it thoroughly. This is an easy but effective hair care method.

Today a lot of people experience excessive hair loss. Men, women and even children are all concerned about losing bunches of hair daily.

To be honest, I am also suffering from excessive hair loss. Several years ago I boasted my rich curly hair, but now I am afraid I will be going bald pretty soon. My hair is scattered all over the house and the office where I work.

Have you ever asked yourself what causes hair loss? Stress, hormonal imbalance, medication, certain infections and improper hair care are the main reasons of excessive hair loss. By the way, hair loss may be hereditary as well, as it is in my case.

There are diverse hair treatments available. After doing some searching on the Web I discovered several medications that tend to reduce hair loss. A medicine which may prevent hair loss is Minoxidil, sold under the brand name Rogaine. Another effective remedy is Finasteride, sold under the name Propecia.

Irrespective of the reason for hair loss, it would be reasonable to apply organic hair care products. Non-organic ones contain chemical ingredients which are harmful for hair.

Swiss Apple Stem Cell Serum

Swiss Apple Stem Cell Serum

Just say no to chemicals when choosing your beauty skin care products! If your are already skeptical about products that are full of chemicals, you’re right, because there is no saying what kind of effects these unnatural beauty skin care products are having on your skin, they could be doing more harm than good.

Now, there is a new scientific breakthrough in skin beauty care. Emerge Labs recently announced its new product, Swiss Apple Stem Cell Serum. This is made by a new, revolutionary method which differs from other ways of making organic skin care products.

The serum is prepared using patent-pending plant cell culture technology, which brings in completely new aspects to the development of novel plant-derived cosmetics. To obtain a suitable skin beauty product, scientists use a high pressure homogenization technique to decompose the plant cells and release all the beneficial constituents while, at the same time, encapsulating these components in liquid nanoparticles.

According to emergeskincare, the serum contains PhytoCellTec Malus Domsestica, a patent-pending active ingredient that dedifferentiates callus cells from a rare Swiss apple, which means it reverts a specialized cell to an earlier developmental stage, turning it into stem cell. Apple stem cells are rich in epigenetic factors that guarantee the longevity of skin cells. Thus the product protects your skin and promotes it’s self-renewal capacity.

This Swiss Apple Stem Cell Serum has an anti-wrinkle effect and helps to keep your skin clean, soft, balanced and pure. It also contains collagen, which is the main protein structure of the skin. It provides excellent smoothing and hydrating qualities leaving your skin feeling superb. So be on the lookout for this and other organic skin care products: true, they are a bit more expensive, but at least you won’t have to worry about what you are putting on your face.
